Missing ‘Humor’  in Indian Parliament.

Missing ‘Humor’  in Indian Parliament.

Gone are the days when Indian Parliamentary debates used to have wit in thier debates. Today lawmakers have lost their humor,  fearing how 24*7 media will play it up amid continuous interruptions of sessions in heated arguments and protests.

“Unless there is a confluence of oratory, action and leadership, neither Parliament can be influenced nor the nation be inspired ” said PM Narendra Modi in the context of missing humor in function hosted by President Mukherjee.

Humour is a big weapon to bring about change in society. You should, in a democracy, be able to pull up your leaders in whichever way possible.

Politicians are thick-skinned. Nothing affects them. NOTHING. Not the newspapers. Not bad publicity.

Now days  People are taking their comedians seriously and the politicians as a joke and missing the wit.

But still, we miss one man in Indian Parliament in this “Dramatic India”.
